Warehouse & Yard Operative
Bluemanor Windows Ltd, a family-run home improvements company based in Braintree, Essex, is looking for a Warehouse Operative to become a part of our team.
Our warehouse and offices in Witham Essex are home to our installations team, service team and Goods In/Out.
We are seeking a reliable and hard-working individual to join our team as a Warehouse/Yard Operative.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse/yard including associate administration.
Full training will be provided.
Your Responsibilities
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse/yard
• Load and unload supplier delivery vehicles as needed
• Assist customers with loading and unloading of their purchases
• Update our computer systems to record item locations / deliveries / missing items
• Liaise with suppliers to discuss any issues that arise on delivery
• Prepare installations teams products for their collection/installation
• Perform weekly vehicle inspections and report any issues to management
• Perform weekly toolbox talks and report any issues to management
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies while on the road (if using company vehicle)
• Must be comfortable completing administration tasks using iPad/computer
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift heavy items
• Good communication skills
• Computer Literate
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Details:
• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: £23,000.00 – £30,000.00 Per annum subject to experience
• Expected hours: 37.5 hours per week

Window & Doors Installer / Installation Team
Bluemanor Windows Ltd, a family-run home improvements company based in Braintree, Essex, is looking for an experienced Window & Door Installer / Window & Door Installation Team to become a part of our growing team.
The successful candidate(s) will be highly experienced in the installation of uPVC and Windows and Doors and will have impeccable attention to detail.
Successful candidates must be motivated, willing to work and capable of building a great rapport with our valued customers.
Installations take place throughout Essex and parts of Suffolk / Herts / Cambs.
Your Responsibilities
• To install uPVC and Aluminium Frames, windows and doors to the highest standards.
• Provide customer satisfaction through excellent workmanship and attitude.
• To install all products to industry and company standards.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed (such as completion check sheets and installation updates) in full and in the timely manner required to be presented to our installations team.
• Ensure that your uniform and vehicle are always in a tidy and presentable condition.
• Ensure the Company policies and guidelines are adhered to at all times.
• Comply with all Health & Safety requirements.

The successful candidate(s) will be highly experienced in the installation of uPVC Roofline (Fascia, Soffits and Guttering) and uPVC / Cement Cladding (such as Cedral) and will have impeccable attention to detail.
Successful candidates must be motivated, willing to work and capable of building a great rapport with our valued customers.
Installations take place throughout Essex and parts of Suffolk / Herts / Cambs.
Your Responsibilities

Surveyor
Bluemanor Windows Ltd, a family-run home improvements company based in Braintree, Essex, is looking for an experienced Window and Door Surveyor to become a part of our growing team.
The successful candidate(s) will be highly experienced in the surveying of Windows and Doors and will have impeccable attention to detail. You must be meticulously accurate with measurements and angles and have extensive knowledge and understanding of windows & doors to protect the consumer and company, ensuring that works to be undertaken are cost-effective, practical and comply with industry standards/building regulations.
Upon completion of the survey, you will then work with our order processor and installations team in order for them to place the necessary product orders and schedule installations based on product lead times.
Main Responsibilities Include:
• Measure products in line with what has been sold, ensuring that the sales contract is achievable both practically, cost effectively and complies with industry standards / building control.
• Based in our Braintree or Witham offices, you will visit and liaise with customers on site, clarifying their order and understanding of what product they have been sold for installation.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding their surveys and any delays that may arise as a result of the survey.
• Complete manual and / or electronic CAD surveys ensuring all documents are completed fully and accurately and are signed off by the customer, either by site visit or email confirmation, these documents supersede any previous signed documentation.
• Carry out risk assessments on site operating to stringent company health and safety procedures and processes regarding access.
• Attend weekly meetings to discuss industry changes to legislation and to brainstorm any departmental or product development.
• Provide technical assistance to both the sales force and installations department to ensure effective efficiency and completion of our customer’s contracts
• Use of in house design software where required (training will be provided.)
• Additional general support to the team as and when necessary.
• Ensure that customers are satisfied with all aspects of the service and would be happy to recommend the company.
Experience & Skills:
Essential
• Ability to ensure that all jobs are measured and drawn up correctly.
• Specifying any materials required for jobs.
• Carry out risk assessments of each job.
• Experience working in the home improvement industry.
• FENSA / MTC card and NVQ3 Fenestration Surveyor.
• Excellent knowledge of current Building Regulations.
• Computer literate.
